The wait is over! Finally we reveal the top 5 positions of this year’s Top of the PopS(ushi) 50 songs of 2014. Who made it to the top and who has been left behind?
At number 5 we have the beautiful collaboration between Sigma and Paloma Faith with “Changing”. The beats rock and her voice closes it all up.
L’attesa è finita! Finalmente è tempo di rivelare le prime cinque posizioni nella classifica Top of the PopS(ushi) di quest’anno. Chi ha raggiunto la vetta e chi è stato lasciato indietro?
In quinta posizione abbiamo la splendida collaborazione fra Sigma e Paloma Faith in “Changing”. Il ritmo è contagioso e la sua voce rende tutto migliore.
At number 4 we’ve got a newbie. In the second part of 2014 Mark Ronson went back quite a few years, and joining forces with Bruno Mars he made us dance all night long with “Uptown Funk”. Retro and cool, totally addictive.
Alla posizione numero 4 abbiamo una novità. Nella seconda parte del 2014 Mark Ronson è tornato indietro di qualche anno e unendo le forze con Bruno Mars ci ha fatto ballare tutta la notte con “Uptown Funk”. Retrò e figo, da assuefazione.
On the lowest step of the podium we’ve got Disclosure and what I belive is the best of their tracks: “Latch”, with the great voice of Sam Smith. We’ve heard this song around a million times, they had to make it to the near top!
Sul gradino più basso del podio abbiamo Disclosure con quello che penso essere il loro brano migliore: “Latch”, con la voce di Sam Smith. Abbiamo ascoltato questa canzone circa un milione di volte, non poteva non essere nelle prime tre!
Next up, to win the silver medal is one of my all time favourites. We cannot stop listening to this song in loop, for it’s violin beginning, for the happy beats that follow, for Jess Glynne’s voice that melts our hearts! It’s Clean Bandit with “Real Love”.
A seguire, vince la medaglia d’argento una delle mie canzoni preferite. Non riusciamo a smettere di ascoltare questa canzone in loop, forse per l’inizio con il violino, forse per il ritmo allegro che segue o per la voce di Jess Glynne che ci scioglie il cuore! Sono i Clean Bandit con “Real Love”.
And finally at number 1 the song that we sang the most in 2014, shakin our bomboms and jumping here and there. It’s the contagious “Happy” by Pharrel Williams, originally part of the Despicable Me 2 OST. Cheerful, optimistic, light and bright… This is a good way of closing this year!
E finalmente alla posizione numero uno c’è la canzone che in assoluto abbiamo cantato di più quest’anno, muovendoci e saltellando qua e là. E’ la contagiosa “Happy” di Pharrell Williams, originariamente parte della colonna sonora di Cattivissimo Me 2. Allegra, ottimista e leggera.. decisamente un buon modo di chiudere l’anno!
